The Man Who Cried

Abel Mason was a kind-hearted man whose fate was interwoven with the conflicting lives of four women. There was Lena, his shrewish wife; Alice, his mistress; Hilda, his unlawful wife whose view of love is warped, and Florrie, Hildas sister whom Abel loves most of all but cannot marry, even though she carries his child. Abel was a man who could be stirred by the conflict of his emotions to the point of shedding tears.
