About the Author
<b>Ram Madhav</b> is an Indian politician, socialeader, author and thinker. Dr Madhav is the President of India Foundation (IF), a New Delhi-based think tank. He has served as the National General Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) during 2014�20 responsible for handling the political affairs of Jammu & Kashmir, Assam and other northeastern states of India.<br><br> Dr Madhav has over 300 publications to his credit. He has authored several books in English and Telugu which include <i>Because India Comes First: Reflections on Nationalism, Identity and Culture</i> and <i>Uneasy Neighbours: India and China after 50 Years of the War</i>.<br><br> He is a regular contributor to platformsike <i>The Indian Express, The Hindustan Times</i> and <i>OPEN</i> magazine amongst others. He was the editor of <i>Bharatiya Pragna</i>, a monthly magazine in English published by <i>Pragna Bharati</i>, and associate editor of <i>Jagriti</i>, a Telugu weekly.
