About the Author

Derek O'Brien, born in 1962, is an Indian quiz show host, author, and Member of Parliament. He is the host of the Bournvita Quiz Contest and The Economic Times Brand Equity Quiz. O'Brien has authored books like The Ultimate Bournvita Quiz Contest Book Of Knowledge and Derek�s Challenge. He studied at St. Xavier's Collegiate School in Kolkata, and eventually became a journalist with Sportsworld. He then moved to advertising, and is now the CEO of Derek O'Brien &amp Associates. O'Brien has won the Best Anchor of a Game Show Award thrice in a row at the Indian Television Academy Awards. In 2010, he was honoured with the ITA Milestone Award.
