Pollyanna

Pollyanna, the orphaned eleven-year-old who has moved to live with her cold maiden aunt Polly after her father's death, doesn't seem to have much to look forward to in life. Thankfully, Pollyanna has a special power-the ability to be glad about whatever comes her way. She calls it the 'glad game.' When tragedy strikes, Pollyanna's optimistic attitude is severely tested, until she learns to find happiness again. Pollyanna is ranked among the best-selling novels and has stood the test of time as it finds a place among the most loved children's stories.
