Gayathri Prabhu, twenty-nine, is a full time writer. A post-graduate in Mass Communication from Jamia Milia Islamia University, New Delhi, and English Literature, Gayathri has worked as an assistant director on feature films and a producer of television programmes. She has been writing verse since her college days and in the last four years has been seriously working on fiction. Though her roots are in coastal Karnataka, she has lived and travelled across the country. Gayathri is married to a journalist and presently lives in New Delhi.
