Horses of the Spirit: 5 (The Outback Riders) Paperback – 29 June 2021
The teenage riders from Sunhaven Downs in outback Australia saddle up for adventures with cutting horses, riding in the remote Colombian jungle on Paso Fino horses, and solving the mystery of the dawn music. In Part One, you follow Matty as he faces the greatest challenge of his life. His dream of competing on a cutting horse comes true, but at what cost? There are plenty of tears along the road to a happy ending. Part Two sees Amy and Polo head to Colombia to search for the man who looks like her father. But if the mystery man in the Colombian jungle is her father, why hasn't he contacted her for eight years? Ride along with them on the remarkable Paso Fino horses as they seek the identity of the man in the mountains. Part Three concerns the mysterious music heard at dawn on Sunhaven Downs. Lani, Dane, and Brandon head out to camp near Sunhaven Gorge to discover who - or what - is making the haunting music at sunrise. Part Four sees the gang back together and heading to the property next door to meet their new neighbours. They don't know why two of the world's leading three day event riders decided to move to the remote outback, but it heralds exciting times for the Outback Riders. Tears, laughter, suspense, and plenty of horses in Australia's outback and the wilds of Colombia. Suitable for readers aged 10 and over but the series is mostly read by adults who enjoy clean adventure stories.
