Futurewise: The Six Faces of Global Change Paperback – 18 March 2002

This is an extraordinary time to be alive. The world is being transformed before our eyes from a technological 21st century society into something altogether new and different. Everyone wants to know what the future holds. On an individual, corporate and world scale, how society changes will affect us all profoundly. Make the wrong choice and the results could be devastating. Patrick Dixon considers six faces of the future as if they are the faces of a cube. The world will be Fast, Urban, Tribal, Universal, Radical and Ethical (a new morality). He explains the practical results of these including everything from the hours in the working week to artificial pregnancies. From business planning on a company scale to choices about a personal pension, these changes will have an impact on everyone. Wealth, health, cultures, technology, travel, morality - all are considered in this study.
