About the Author

Peter W. Fay was born in Paris to American parents and grew up in Cambridge, Massachusetts. His undergraduate career at Harvard College was interrupted by service in the army during World War II. Fay returned to Harvard to complete his BA, then accepted a Rhodes scholarship to Oxford for several years.
