About the Author

Alan Andres spent three decades in trade book publishing and managed a small magazine publishing enterprise. He served as a consulting producer and researcher on Robert Stone's documentary film Chasing the Moon. For more than two decades he has served on the board of directors of the Associates of the Boston Public Library where he has overseen their Writer in Residence Fellowship.
