About the Author
One of the country's leading eye surgeons, Dr. J. Agarwal was the first to bring the Cryo technique of cataract extraction in India. Along with his wife Dr T Agarwal, he is the founder of Dr Agarwal's Eye Hospital in Chennai and is presently the Chairman of Dr Agarwal's Group of Eye Hospitals, which has centers in Bangalore, Chennai and Dubai. Dr. T. Agarwal is the Managing Director of D Agarwal's Group of Eye Hospitals. An excellent eye surgeon, she was the first to start Refractive Keratoplasty with the barraquer Cryolathe in Asia.
