About the Author

<b>Shiv B. Singh</b> is a banking professional and has served over three decades in various capacities in the regional, national and international arena of banking. Currently the Executive Director of a public sector bank, he is credited with successfully steering a major regional rural bank through an amalgamation, followed by a quick and successful turnaround when he was its chairman. His areas of interest are treasury management, foreign exchange, priority sectorending, financial inclusion, planning and human resources.<br><br> Mr Singh has published nearly 50 articles and participated in seminars and conferences all over the world. He is also a visiting faculty at various apex training institutes of the banking industry.
