About the Author
Dr R.K. Suneja, MD, DCH is an eminent paediatrician of India. He was medical superintendent, Hindu Rao Hospital, Delhi and had the distinction of being appointed as an honorary physician to the president of India.He also worked as child health consultant to the Municipal Corporation of Delhi, consultant, Integrated Child Development Services Scheme, Government of India and member, Consultative Committee, Child Guidance Centre, Delhi School of Social Work. He received a special award in 1989 in recognition of his outstanding work and immense contribution to the development of child health and medical services in Delhi. He is presently a practicing paediatric consultant in New Delhi and is a member of a committee of the National Children's Fund, Delhi.
