About the Author

Barry S. Jandebeur was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts and travelled the world as the son of a U.S. Naval officer. He left home and came to Maine at the age of 16. After a tour in Vietnam with the Marine Corps, he returned to marry his high school sweetheart. While his two daughters attended college he too returned to college at The University of Southern Maine where he completed his degree in English graduating Magna Cum Laude with honors in English. He and his wife live in southern Maine where they raised their two daughters. Barry writes from Kingfield Cottage in Ogunquit, Maine. www.barrysjandebeur.com Barry has been self-employed since 1970 when he returned from Vietnam. His remodeling business paid bills and let him put two daughters through college. Now, with his emancipation from the slavery of debt, he spends most of his time writing and less time making sawdust and wood shavings.
