A Wizard Abroad

Sent to stay with an aunt in Ireland, Nita - a young American wizard - finds herself in a land steeped with the essence of old, old wizardries. But as the great festival of Lughnasád approaches, Ireland itself stirs, and creatures of myth and legend begin to slip sideways into everyday reality. As the past begins to happen again and again, and dreams and nightmares spring into life, the Senior Wizards of the area gather in desperation.Working side-by-side with the Irish wizards, with a cheeky young kitten-bard, and with the capricious Sidhe - the People of the Hills - Nita and her companions prepare to go into battle against the vile Balor and his Fomori hordes. But first they must collect the four legendary objects of power: the cup, the sword, the stone and the spear...A powerful fantasy, rich with the magic of the Celtic legends, A Wizard Abroad is the fourth title in a series about Nita and her companions in wizardry.
